February 3 & 4, 2012 Answering the call to worship and figuring out who to worship is the greatest spiritual challenge for this generation of young people. The reality is that we worship those things that we value most. The question is this: does Jesus occupy the place of greatest value in our life?
The Seabrook Church sanctuary was packed with family, friends, church members, and fellow pastors attending the ordination of Pastor Jimmy Munoz, the church¹s discipleship pastor.
The final town hall meeting of 2011 was held in the Vienna Church in early December with nearly eighty people in attendance. As with every town hall meeting, all of the officers and directors from the conference were in attendance, as well as several pastors from the Washington DC area.
The 13th annual Women’s Ministry Retreat of the Potomac Conference Hispanic Ministries was held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA with the attendance of more than 1,000 women representing more than 60 Hispanic churches.
As a follow-up to the constituency meeting that was held last October, the Potomac Conference has met the deadlines that were put in place, and all legal work has been concluded. In addition, we would like to update the constituency as to the primary committee representation within the five core conference committees: Executive, Constitution & Bylaws, Board of Education., Tidewater Academy & Shenandoah Valley Academy:

Potomac Conference’s Richmond Academy of Seventh-day Adventists (RA) in Richmond, Va., celebrated 100 years of excellence in Christian education on October 14-16.
More than 270 pastors, educators and staff members gathered in Williamsburg, Va., October 10-12, for the annual Potomac Conference Pastor and Teacher Convention.
This October 14-16, Richmond Academy of Seventh-day Adventists will celebrate its 100 th year of service. RA was founded for the purpose of educating the whole child–heart, mind and body–in a manner that is uniquely Seventh-day Adventist Christian.
The conference leadership is inviting all those who wish to take part in the mission and vision of the church to join us at our regional town hall meeting.
