Simply a regal blend of flavors!
2 16-oz cans sweet potatoes, drained
1 C brown sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
2 C orange juice
1/3 C raisins
1/4 C water
1 tsp orange zest
Walnut halves (optional)
In a 9″ x 13″ baking dish, arrange drained sweet potatoes.
In a medium saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt; blend in orange juice, add raisins. Cook over medium-high heat until boiling. Add remaining ingredients. Pour over sweet potatoes. Garnish with halved walnuts if desired. Bake uncovered at 350° F for 25 to 30 minutes.
