Can be used thinned down as a tasty dip for veggies, etc., or as is for a cheese substitute.
1 C cold water
1 C cashews
2 Tbsp sesame seeds
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/4 C brewer’s yeast flakes
1/4 C canola oil
1 tsp onion powder
Dash of salt
1/2 C canned pimientos, drained
1/3 C lemon juice concentrate
In blender on high blend water, nuts, sesame seeds, salt, and brewer’s yeast. Slowly, through blender lid, add oil, onion powder, salt, pimientos, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
Serving Suggestion: This is a tasty substitute for cheese. Use in lasagna or for vegetables.
Servings: 2 1/2 cups (approximately 12 servings)
