2: To Know God — Singing with Inspiration

Growing in a Relationship With God has many wonderful steps in it. There are several beautiful hymns from which to choose as a theme due to all the changes that come along when we grow in our relationship with God. On page 31 we see that “the most powerful weapon is prayer” to help us through our growing times. Therefore, we will wish to sing
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus – Hymn 290 to keep learning every minute of the day in our journey. To help with this journey, Lord,
Give Me The Bible – Hymn 272 to instruct even more with the Holy Spirit encouraging along the way:
Hover O’er Me, Holy Spirit – Hymn 260.

I Know Whom I Have Believed – Hymn 511 comes out of our Memory Text for this week.

There are a lot of hymns that will resonate throughout this week, and help us understand our God so much more, including:

Hymn 77 – O Love Of God Most Full,

Hymn 79 – O Love of God, How Strong And True!,

Hymn 349 – God Is Love,

Hymn 148 – O Love, How Deep, How Broad,

Hymn 76 – O Love That Wilt Not Let Me Go,

Monday gives us further insight about God:

Hymn 425 – Holy, Holy, Is What The Angels Sing, with Tuesday again reminding us

Wednesday adds more to our learning about our gracious God in Creation: Hymn 2 – All Creatures Of Our God And King, Hymn 454 – For The Beauty Of The Earth, Hymn 88 – I Sing The Mighty Power Of God, Hymn 111 – It Took A Miracle, and Hymn 97 – Lord Of The Boundless Curves Of Space.

Oh, what a joy to learn and know that
God Himself Is With Us – Hymn 3 encourages Thursday’s study time.

Friday instils once more one of our theme hymns
Give Me The Bible – Hymn 272, with dear Sister White completing this week’s study asking if we can say
Lord, I Have Made Thy Word My Choice – Hymn 273.
