The studies in this quarter’s pamphlet encourage us to see God’s Love and Justice, just as we may sing in
Hymn 79 – O Love of God, How Strong and True! which is a beautiful theme hymn for our studies.
Once again, our theme hymn shines throughout the week. This is followed by our amazement in
Hymn 75 – The Wonder Of It All and teaches us of
O Love That Wilt Not Let Me Go – Hymn 76. All these then show us
Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise – Hymn 21.
Sunday shows us
There’s A Wideness In God’s Mercy – Hymn 114, with Monday encouraging us to see
God, The Omnipotent – Hymn 84 Who shows us all about righteousness and mercy.
We are learning to pray and want for
My Faith Looks Up To Thee – Hymn 517 (especially in verse 2) asking that “may my love to Thee, pure warm and changeless be” . . . just like God’s changeless and abundant love.
If You But Trust In God To Guide You – Hymn 510 we may be encouraged and learn so much more of our precious God.
Thursday expounds on “God’s love as perfect love” which we may sing in verse 3 of
Hymn 191 – Love Divine. Oh, to see that
There’s A Wideness In God’s Mercy – Hymn 114 as we saw in Sunday’s study time.
Please continue to search the scriptures this week to be blessed, and to bless others.
To learn unknown hymns, you will find the accompaniment music for each one at: https://sdahymnals.com/Hymnal/
Another great resource is for when there is a hymn you wish to sing but can’t find it in your hymnal. Go to https://www.sdahymnal.org/Search and in the search bar type a special word in that is in the hymn. I am sure you will be amazed at the help you will be given.
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV – “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
