7.DEFEAT OF THE ASSYRIANS |
When you are in a desperate position it is unlikely that you can get out of it safely. But in this fascinating story it really happened.

Isaiah 37:16 – O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

7.1 Strings Attached
King Hezekiah prepares for a confrontation with Assyria. But the most important point is his alliance with God Almighty.
7.2 Propaganda
The Assyrians try to intimidate King Hezekiah and his counsellors. The situation is really helpless.
7.3 Shaken But Not Forsaken
King Hezekiah prays to his God for help. If the Almighty is willing to interfere there will be a chance to survive.
7.4 The Rest Of The Story
Unbelievable! The kingdom of Juda gets help from the Almighty by an angel. One angel is able to destroy the Assyrian army totally.
7.5 In Sickness And In Wealth
King Hezekiah is about to die but is miraculously healed by God. But just afterwards the king makes a terrible mistake.
7.6 Summary
The kingdom of Juda gets help from the center of the universe. But even the greatest experience with God does not prevent people from making a mistake afterwards.
