Merry Christmas! What a remarkable year this has been for Adventist World Radio! As many of you know, Dr. Duane McKey retired earlier this year, and I’ve been appointed as the new president. The good news is, Dr. McKey has agreed to continue supporting AWR as Global Ambassador—even while in retirement! It’s been only a few months since my election as president, but we’ve hit the ground running. I first traveled to Guam to see our shortwave radio station beaming God’s Word for thousands of miles into unentered territories. Then in November, my wife Sonya and I traveled to Thailand to attend an Asia Missionary Congress and meet with our AWR team in the Asia-Pacific Region. Hearing the reports and seeing the impact of AWR in that region was another transformational experience. I wish you could have been there! Then, just a couple weeks ago, we held our annual Home Week, where I met with our AWR world leaders at the General Conference headquarters. We heard moving reports of how God is using all our AWR media platforms and in-person evangelism to generate thousands of Bible studies and baptisms. It was incredible! Below is a short video report where you’ll see how AWR is impacting the lives of people around the world—including a stirring testimony from General Cabangbang from Mindoro, Philippines, where the Lord continues to transform hearts! I want to thank you for your prayers and support. You make it all possible. And I know God will continue to use this ministry in remarkable ways as together we proclaim to the world that Jesus is coming soon! May the Lord bless you and your families this Christmas season.
