Adventist World Church Publishes Statement Against Racism; and other world news

First in the news… as we reported last week, Seventh-day Adventist Church leaders of the General Conference Administrative Committee or G-C ADCOM voted September 15 to accept as an official statement: One Humanity: A Human Relations Statement Addressing Racism, Casteism, Tribalism, and Ethnocentrism. The statement comes after recent events led the Public Affairs and Religious Liberty, or PARL, World Affairs Committee on July 1 to vote to explore producing a new church statement on global issues involving racism.
