At dawn after a long night of rain, the horizon glowed with colors that no night could contain. That moment of light breaking through darkness captures the promise of God who makes all things new. It is not poetic wishfulness but divine assurance that life can begin again after sorrow, fear, and weariness. "Behold, I make all things new" (Revelation 21:5, NKJV). This promise reaches into the deepest parts of our human experience. It speaks to hearts that have lost hope, communities seeking renewal, and lives waiting to be restored. "…If anyone is in Christ they are a new creation; old things have passed away, and behold all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17, NKJV). This newness is not only about a future final restoration but about the present work of God in and through His followers. Mission is the movement of God's heart into the world. It embraces education, service, healing, reconciliation, and proclamation. Renewal restores hope. Renewal revives purpose. Renewal motivates believers to be conduits of God's redeeming love. The global mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church reflects this commitment to renewal in many concrete ways. In Bulgaria, educators and leaders gathered in Sofia for the first national Adventist education conference, a historic moment demonstrating renewed commitment to mission and future generations. In Rwanda, pastors, lay members, and volunteers united in evangelistic meetings where many people chose baptism. In the United States, the Seventh-day Adventist Church launched Pentecost 2025, calling every church to unite in prayer, Bible preaching, and evangelistic outreach with the purpose of preparing people for the soon return of Jesus. In Bali, Indonesia, Adventist churches united for an island-wide revival, holding eight simultaneous meetings to share the message of hope and salvation. Our mission is not only to interpret the promise that God makes all things new, but to display it in how we teach, serve, and proclaim Christ's soon return. The world needs this message deeply because people everywhere long for purpose, peace, and a hope that cannot be shaken.
