August 2025 Video: Meet Wisam’s Sister!

This past July, while at the General Conference Session in St. Louis, I had the privilege of meeting Pastor Wisam Ali’s sister and her husband Roman, who were both instrumental in Wisam’s conversion years ago. Imagine their surprise when we showed them the book we had just published on the life of Pastor Wisam (download it for free here!)—and they discovered they’re both mentioned in the book! Needless to say, they took copies of the book and read it cover to cover. It was a moving experience that brought them to tears. Born to a strict Muslim family in Israel, Wisam had been tasked with killing his sister when the family discovered that she had converted to Christianity. She was to repent or die. But God had other plans. As Wisam prepared to hunt her down and confront her, like Saul of old, God intervened in a supernatural way and called Wisam to a life of service.
