Contaminated Gifts Made Acceptable Through Grace

Even the best offerings, assisted by the Holy Spirit, are still tainted by sin. The question is how these offerings can be accepted by God. Here’s the beautiful picture of the gospel in the sacrificial system: In verse 19, it describes a sin offering of a goat and two male lambs. The priest waves them alongside the bread as a wave offering, and they are accepted. Picture this: one lamb is offered by each person, and the rabbis would sometimes wave the lamb, even covering the bread with it.
