We were saddened to learn of the death of Pastor David Markham on 10 March 2021. Pastor Markham was born on 21 February 1940 in Burton-On-Trent. He married Sylvia Newsam on 26 July 1965 and their union brought about Timothy, Andrew, Jonathan and Philip.
Before entering denominational employment, Pastor Markham worked as a draughtsman apprentice and ward orderly. After completing his studies at Newbold College, he entered the ministry in 1964 in the South England Conference.
