Hurricane Melissa

Last October, hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica with sustained winds of 300 kilometres per hour. It was one of the most destructive storms to hit the Island. Homes were destroyed, fields flooded. Roads and bridges were washed away. Water sources were contaminated.
