It is establishing relationships in accordance with Jesus’ character, with the goal of reproducing individuals who will be instruments in the equipping of the body of Christ. Making disciples is the process of carrying on the work of redemption through the Gospel. It’s about multiplying people and multiplying hope in the coming of Jesus Christ. It is vital for the Church because it is part of the Great Commission that Christ has given us: to go and proclaim the Gospel, baptize people from all countries, and make them disciples of Christ. It is not an option for us, but rather an order we must respond to.
