The term "guarding grace" refers to how believers must actively protect and maintain the gift of God's grace in their lives. God's grace is freely given, and we cannot abuse or take the gift of grace for granted. Grace is the unmerited favor and forgiveness of God. It is given to us freely through faith in Jesus Christ, saving us from the penalty of sin. As believers, however, we are still vulnerable to sin and temptation, and our fleshly desires can lead us astray. This is where the concept of guarding grace comes in. We must be vigilant against sin and temptation and work actively to maintain our relationship with God. Watch the video as Shelley Quinn discusses the grace freely given to us as a gift from God and the importance of guarding it.
