13: Standing in All th Will of God — Singing with Inspiration

The great lesson we learn from dear Paul this quarter is that we are to
Stand Up! Stand Up For Jesus! – Hymn 618. This is a beautiful theme hymn to give us a great reminder of what we need in our world that is falling apart these days.

The title of this week rings true, and again on Tuesday, for us to sing
Standing On The Promises – Hymn 518.

Sunday encourages all our church members to have “personal ties that bind believers together”:
Hymn 350 – Blest Be The Ties That Bind.

The wonderful helpers for Paul showed that “coworkers can labour effectively together”:
Hymn 357 – Come, Labour On (Monday).

Colossians 4:12 encouraged the Colossians, and now us, to “stand perfect and complete in all the will of

God”:
Hymn 610 – Stand Like The Brave. This encouragement also helps to
Go, Preach My Gospel – Hymn 378

Living in this poor world that is falling apart so drastically, we can be strong in the Lord and really need to
Watch Ye Saints With Eyelids Waking – Hymn 598 with all that the devil is tempting and trying us all with.

“A vital connection with God through the surrender of ourselves to Him moment by moment” (writes Sister Ellen White) is necessary to overcome all the tempting and trying we have thrown at us:
Hymn 507 – Moment By Moment. A discussion question on Friday then questions “how crucial the surrender of your will to Christ really is”. May we all choose
All To Jesus I Surrender – Hymn 309.
