The ministerial work of the church has been blessed by specialized ministries that train the congregation in their duty, setting goals and solid work plans, as well as warning against error, among other things. However, this specialization has led some, ministers and laymen, to mistakenly believe that only the "professionals" fulfill the mission, allowing the rest of the church to be mere spectators of the evangelistic mission pushed by those skilled in evangelism. Spiritual revival involves action, movement… life! — but not for just a few persons. Many churches today are considered alive because they have a great preacher, or functionally and structurally efficient departments. However, this is not necessarily total church involvement. The church will only be a real church when it lives its identity as a living organism, made up of all its members, actively involved, each having been summoned and trained to fulfill a particular mission: the preaching of the gospel. To be a member is to be a missionary, minister, or layperson. Today the church needs to go beyond the pulpit or the screen, because "The world will be convinced, not by what the pulpit teaches, but by what the church lives." ChS 6-7 Nestor Narez
