In God’s eyes, we are the most important thing He has ever made. #shorts

January 23, 2022 By admin

We are the Apple of God’s eye. God created us in His image. We are the only creations who God shaped and molded by His own hands. God created us in perfection. But when transgression entered into the world, we became like rotten apples. The amazing news is, God still loves us! He could not just look at us suffering from afar. God wanted to bring us back to Him. He sacrificed His only Son to shed His blood on the cross for our salvation. Let us adore God as much as He adores us. We should glorify Him in all our ways. Proclaim His name and let others know of His eminence. Let Jesus be the apple of our eyes, for He is the most important treasure we could ever have. #shorts #AppleOfHisEye #GodLovesUs #GodsWonderfulCreation Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5R2BeI1jZc

Genesis 10 | Believe His Prophets | Daily Bible Reading Guide 🕊

January 23, 2022 By admin

✅ Friends, Share with others and Subscribe to our channel – https://www.youtube.com/c/revivereform
Commentary by Mark Finley:
"Genealogies are often difficult to read and more difficult to understand. Nevertheless they play an important role in our understanding of the Bible story. They show the continuity of families, reveal the migration of peoples, provide bridges between significant Biblical events, and enable us to discern more clearly the interrelationship of Bible characters. In Genesis 10 Noah’s three sons and their families settle in three distinctly different areas. The sons of Ham reside in Northeastern Africa and Palestine, The descendents of Shem migrate to Mesopotamia and Southwest Arabia and the families of Japheth journey to Asia Minor(modern Turkey) and Western Europe. They were separated according to their “language, families and nations.” Obviously differences eventually arose among the sons of Noah. These differences led them to move in different directions. There are times in life when moving in a different direction is far better than remaining and waging war. There is another vital spiritual lesson here. Noah’s faithfulness to God and his stalwart obedience did not guarantee the faithfulness of his own sons. Just as Noah had to make a decided choice to serve God so did his sons. Share any spiritual lessons you see in this challenging chapter." ❤️ Jump to Daily Bible Reading https://www.revivalandreformation.org/bhp/en/bible/gen/10 Our accounts in other social networks:

Sunday: The Land as a Place of Rest

January 22, 2022 By admin

Read Genesis 15:13-21. What did God promise Abraham?

When God delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt, His purpose was to bring Israel to the land of Canaan, where they would be able to serve and obey Him freely (Exodus 8:1; Psalm 105:43-45), including enjoying the Sabbath rest that Pharaoh had prohibited (Exodus 5:5).

The land of Canaan was the inheritance that God had promised to their father Abraham because he had obeyed God’s voice and left his country to go to the Promised Land (Genesis 11:31-12:4).

God’s purpose in giving the land to Israel was not simply for them to possess it. God was bringing them to Himself (Exodus 19:4). God wanted them to live in a land where they would be able to enjoy an intimate relationship with Him, without any hindrance, and would also be a witness to the world of who the true God was and what He offered His people. Like the Sabbath of creation, the land of Canaan was a framework that made possible an intimate relationship with their Redeemer and the enjoyment of His goodness.

In Deuteronomy 12:1-14, the Lord told the people that they would enter the rest, not simply when they entered the land, but when they had purged the land from idolatry. After that, God would show them, the Chosen, a place where He would dwell among them.

Read Exodus 20:8-11 and Deuteronomy 5:12-15. What two things does the Sabbath rest commemorate, and how are they related?

God connected the Sabbath of creation with the deliverance from Egypt. He instructed Israel to observe the Sabbath as a memorial of creation and as a memorial of their redemption from Egypt. Creation and redemption are both enshrined in the Sabbath commandment. Just as we did not create ourselves, we cannot redeem ourselves. It’s a work that only God can do, and by resting we acknowledge our dependence upon Him, not only for existence but for salvation. Sabbath keeping is a powerful expression of salvation by faith alone.

How should keeping the Sabbath help us understand our complete dependence upon God, not only for existence but for salvation?

<–Sabbath Monday–>

Amen!(0)
