Where is the Adventist Church Headed? – Launch of I Will Go Part 1
Join us tonight for a special program as we launch the new strategic focus for the Seventh-day Adventist World Church: "Reach the World: I Will Go." Tonight we will share inspiring mission stories, beautiful music and information about how you can answer God’s call, “Here I am! Send me” The I Will Go strategic plan is rooted in the Great Commission found in Matthew 28, which calls Jesus’ followers to go and make disciples of all nations. The details of the plan reflect data collected from Adventist members through several research studies. This information identifies areas that can help us, as Seventh-day Adventists, grow spiritually and become more effective in our mission to the world. For more information visit IWillGO2020.org. An End Time Warning of Hope!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwX_mwjP1aE
Is it possible that we are ignoring some of the most important warnings ever given…but just going along with daily life? The Bible has provided end time warnings for everyone who wants to read and understand.
In this episode of Unlocking Bible Prophecies: Digging Deeper, we will answer the question of what hope is there for this helplessly hopeless planet? The simple answer that Pastor Chris Holland shares is that yes there is and that hope can be found only in the return of Jesus. He will bring all of this turmoil and suspicion to an end. Join us for episode 3 of Unlocking Bible Prophecies: Digging Deeper and register at awr.org/bible to get notified in advance for our upcoming programs. PASTOR CHRIS HOLLAND Pastor Chris Holland is a pastor, teacher and international speaker for Adventist World Radio. Over the course of 20 years of ministry, Chris has had the opportunity to serve in various capacities, including as Speaker/Director for It Is Written Canada. Chris has been involved in media ministry since his early undergraduate years in college where he was involved with both television and radio programs. It is his sincere desire to know Jesus more and to utilize the many media outlets to preach and teach God’s word with power. Since their marriage in 1996, Chris and his wife Debbie have served the Lord together and strive to do all that they can to fulfill His commission to take the Gospel to the “ends of the earth”. Adventist World Radio has been broadcasting around the world for almost 50 years. Starting with shortwave, they now are broadcasting via AM/FM, DAB, Radio 2.0 and all across social media. Adventist Church reorganizes spending amid pandemic
Recognizing the economic strains caused by the novel coronavirus and subsequent global lockdown, Seventh-day Adventist Church leaders in South America have reorganized budget and spending priorities.
Administrative expenses have, for several months, been cut with in order to prioritize resources in fulfilling the Church’s mission of preaching the gospel.
“The moment is one of gratitude to God, because the Lord is sending the means for missionary projects to remain strong, relevant and with a…

New book recalculates the value of giving
According to Sydney business consultant Dr Ken Long, many people are reluctant to give because when they do, they are left with less to live on. It can feel like a threat to our independence and standard of living. Economic security is a cause for concern—especially with so many people working reduced hours or being out of work.
But Dr. Long’s first book The Giving Equation, released recently by Signs Publishing, recalculates this equation, offering a biblical and mind-shifting perspective on…

Baptism brings joy to Betikama community
Staff and students at Betikama Adventist College, Solomon Islands, celebrated the baptism of 11 individuals at the conclusion of a recent Health Week series.
Pastor Gary Ian Manele presented a series of health messages embracing the core principle of obedience to God’s natural laws of health. He said this becomes the basis to which obedience to God’s moral laws becomes possible.
The series helped the staff and students to recognize the importance of obedience to God in this end-time period.

Birthday opens window of opportunity at Samliju Campsite, Estonia
A former Soviet era holiday home on the Pärnu River in central Estonia has become an active campsite for Pathfinders, youth, and even nearby churches. Purchased in 2016, the beautiful 2.5-hectare (6.2-acre) site is slowly being upgraded into a fully functioning church campground.
But how to make it better? In particular, the main building is in need of renovation and improvement. Although the Estonian Conference has developed a renovation plan and has the relevant permissions, the budget is…

You inspired me: Take charge of your health
A man recently ran into one of his neighbors and said to him, “Look at me! I’ve changed my lifestyle, lost weight, and never have felt better. Do you know why? YOU inspired me.” He went on to explain that his friend’s health journey is what had motivated him to get his health in order. That very kind of “you inspired” exclamation is what motivated It Is Written to do a seven-part health series called Take Charge of Your Health.
From June 22 to 28, John Bradshaw, It Is Written president, and a…
