Adventist Hospital intensive care director recognized during Queen’s birthday
The director of intensive care at Sydney Adventist Hospital was recognized during the Queen’s Birthday Honors, which were announced on Sunday, June 8.
Professor Simon Finfer was appointed an Officer in the Order of Australia (AO) for his service to intensive care medicine, medical research and education, and for his service to global health institutes. Adventist Church grows in the first four months of the year
Despite the restrictions imposed by quarantines related to the Covid-19 pandemic, membership in the South American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church grew by 1.76 percent in the first four months of 2020. The division supports church activities in eight nations on the South American continent.

Organizations Join Forces to Support Adventist Hospitals in Inter-American Region
The (Virtual) Tent – An Online Evangelistic Series by Students
On Friday, May 22, 2020, the first ever Virtual Tent meeting, a collaboration of the Ruth Murdoch Elementary School and PMC Youth ministries premiered on YouTube and Facebook. “The Tent,” as it is known, has been an evangelistic series put on by junior high students in a large tent on the campus of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. For the past seven years, the program has occurred every May. This year the live event had to shift to virtual meetings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, stay at home orders, and quarantine.
