It is with sadness that we announce the death of Anita Marshall, wife of retiree Dr David Marshall. Anita was born on 23 July 1943 and passed away on 9 October at The St Barnabas Hospice at Grantham Hospital.
Anita and David began an enduring friendship in the late sixties that matured into marriage in July 1970. A Testimony of Healing
I was now a trained and qualified flight hostess, which caused great excitement for me. However, things took a big U-turn in my life. The past few years were very challenging times due to various medical health conditions.
The first I experienced was:
• Damage to the disc in my neck from a bus accident
• Broken bone in my left foot
• Benign tumour in my head
• Stage 4 endometriosis which was attached to the bowel and other organs in the pelvic area

Pastor Phil White of the Simi Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church had a problem. In his own words, he said, “I was fat, exercise, challenged, and not very happy with the road his health was taking.” HIs wife Jan, had similar concerns, especially when she got the results of a blood test. Phil and Jan decided they wanted to improve their chances of watching their grandchildren grow up. What they did had a spill over effect in their church.
