It was 160 years ago, two years into the American Civil War, 20 believers from churches around the Midwest and Northeast gathered in Battle Creek, Michigan. They gathered to organize a General Conference which would begin what has now grown into a worldwide congregation of over 22 million members today.

The 58th annual Florence Nightingale Commemoration Service occurred on Tuesday 16 May at St Paul’s Cathedral in London. The yearly service at Westminster Abbey was changed to St Paul’s due to the coronation of King Charles III.
