With a heavy heart, the South England Conference (SEC) wishes to share the news of the passing of Pastor Ebenezer Sackey. The SEC President, Emmanuel Osei, said, “Pastor Sackey served in the South England Conference for many years before retiring in 2010 and returning to Ghana in 2022.” The sad event took place at about midnight on Friday, 14 April.

The Great Controversy Chapter 11: Protest of the Princes
This week Pastor Ted Wilson discusses chapter eleven of The Great Controversy, “Protest of the Princes,” in which another national assembly, known as "The Diet of Spires" gave each person freedom in matters of religion in 1526. This peace did not last long, however, and three years later Reformers were forbidden to share their views even in their own homes. German emperor Charles V summoned a second assembly to convene in the city of Spires with the purpose of extinguishing the heresy for good. A compromise was met, but at what cost?
