What is church school? The term "church school ministry" usually refers to the educational programs and activities provided by a church, which are often geared toward children and youth. This can include Sabbath school classes, vacation Bible school, youth groups, and other programs designed to teach young people about the Christian faith. Church school instills in young people solid spiritual values and assists them in developing a meaningful relationship with God. When parents, pastors, and teachers work together, they can be a powerful force in shaping the spiritual development of young people. They have the ability to foster a cohesive and supportive environment in which young people can explore and deepen their faith. This helps lay a solid foundation for their spiritual lives that will serve them well for the rest of their lives. Adventist education has a unique power to prepare young people for ministry in all its forms. This is more than just education; it is about discipleship, the intentional process of nurturing and mentoring young people in their faith. Watch the video to hear Pastor Scott Ward discuss the significance of church school, particularly for our generation. —————————————————————- The Seventh-day Adventist Church has been an established denomination since 1863. God’s Timing Is Perfect | Part 1
1 Jesus Wins – Satan Loses – Singing with Inspiration
“Three Cosmic Messages” encourages us to
Watch Ye Saints – Hymn 598 as we near the end of this old world’s history to witness the Second Coming of our Lord, and Saviour, Jesus Christ. This is a wonderful hymn to give courage, dear people, and is our theme for this quarter.
We will be noting at times throughout the quarter that
“Tis Almost Time For The Lord To Come – Hymn 212 and we should be proclaiming the message that
Jesus Is Coming Again – Hymn 213.
It is with joy that I read the Sabbath afternoon’s introduction to the study this week, Jesus Wins – Satan Loses. Hallelujah!!! Reading on I am encouraged to
Fight the Good Fight – Hymn 613 and
Sound The Battle Cry – Hymn 614, then to
Stand Like The Brave – Hymn 610 because
Faith Is The Victory – Hymn 608.
Following “The Battle in Heaven” (Sunday), it is so reassuring to know
The King Of Love My Shepherd Is – Hymn 197 and that I will see Jesus
Face To Face – Hymn 206.
Tuesday reiterates the theme of the week of the wondrous love of God for humankind:
Hymn 79 – O Love Of God all because there is
Power In The Blood – Hymn 294.
Following “The Woman in the Wilderness” time in earth’s history Martin Luther encouraged everyone with
A Mighty Fortress Is Our God – Hymn 506.
So, dear people, be encouraged to go forward and
“Lift up the trumpet and loud let it ring, Jesus IS coming again” – Hymn 213.
To learn unknown hymns, you will find the accompaniment music for each one at: https://sdahymnals.com/Hymnal/
Another great resource is for when there is a hymn you wish to sing but can’t find it in your hymnal. Go to https://www.sdahymnal.org/Search and in the search bar type a special word in that is in the hymn. I am sure you will be amazed at the help you will be given.
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV – “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
