This episode will be the first of an ongoing series on a difficult topic – abuse, but more specifically abuse within the Adventist Church. This conversation may be triggering for many, as it’s an unfortunate reality for numerous people. Thankfully, more and more work is being done to educate spiritual leaders on how to properly respond when hearing about abuse in their spheres of influence Our guests are Erica Jones, assistant director of NAD Women’s Ministries and coordinator of enditnow North America, and Kendra Arsenault, filmmaker, director and host of the AdventNext podcast. Kendra is also completing her graduate studies at the Adventist Theological Seminary. The two women along with our very own executive producer Julio Munoz, who serves as director of the SonScreen Film Festival, have produced a docuseries called, “Church, Too.”
The series is set to premiere Friday, Dec. 11, at 7:00 p.m. (EST) on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/enditnowNAD You can also listen or watch this episode on the go on the following platforms: Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/newspoints-on-the-air/id1532913430 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/episode/53KR8zXNEhI5yQ8q9fatpu?si=96us6tBJQNet4rk6Qiw_vQ Google:
