Only Jesus Christ can redeem us. Whoever puts him aside is without any chance.

Pottery can be a messy process. A potters' hands must get muddy while molding and shaping clay into something more significant. A vessel shaped to bring meaning and purpose in life. The Bible depicts God as a potter and us as clay. It is a beautiful scene to witness God shaping and molding us into His likeness. He is creating something wonderful in us with His hands. We are carefully and beautifully handcrafted. Who is molding you? Are you in our great Potter's hand? Allow God to mold you in His likeness and be reformed by His mighty hands. On the long journey he might have fled with the slaves and jewels, but preferred to be faithful to his master. He went forth on his errand and returned again, fulfilling with zeal and obedience what was commanded of him. Often, failing to be faithful servants, we do not fulfill our responsibility to our Lord and we flee from Him, becoming hostage to the enemy. Wanting to be great, to receive prominence and advantages, we forget that Great is our God and that He will always be above everything and everyone. May our pride not make us forget that even if we have possessions, everything belongs to the Lord and we will always be servants.
