The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in Nepal has been collaborating with hospitals dedicated to combating COVID-19, as well as rolling out vaccine campaigns in four districts. ADRA staff and volunteers were able to assist many people in this way as they began conducting awareness activities. Nepal is one of the first countries in the southern region of Asia to start a mass COVID-19 vaccination drive. ADRA continues to help our brothers and sisters from Nepal to address their medical needs. ADRA France was selected among 260 candidates and received a special mention in the 2021 edition of the Human Rights Prize of the French Republic. According to the French National Consultative Commission on Human Rights, ADRA France was awarded a special mention for the Chalantika Project, which aims to enable children living in the Chalantika slum in Dhaka, Bangladesh, to return to school. A Kiribati government minister was among more than 300 people gathered to commemorate Hope Radio’s third anniversary in December 2021. Over the past three years, Hope Radio has become not only an informer, educator, and entertainer; but a powerful evangelistic platform that has changed lives—seen through the baptism of a considerable number of new families into the Seventh-day Adventist Church. According to Kiribati Mission president Taabua Rokeatau, Hope Radio has made a significant contribution to the Kiribati government, especially in fighting COVID-19. Hope Radio has also assisted the Ministry of Health by airing radio spots promoting handwashing and cleaning. Hope Channel reached a new milestone because Heroes: The Bible Trivia Game exceeded 100,000 downloads globally. Officially released as “Heroes 2” on March 26, 2021, the new game has since changed its name to “Heroes." Heroes' initiative is to encourage users to engage with scripture in a deeper way through Bible studies. Heroes Game co-creator Sam Neves says that there are more versions coming and new updates continually being released. Sabbath: Jesus, Our Faithful Brother

Sabbath Afternoon,
Read for This Week’s Study: Leviticus 25:25–27; Hebrews 2:14–16; Hebrews 11:24–26; 1 Corinthians 15:50; Hebrews 5:8-9, ; Hebrews 12:1–4.
Memory Text: “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is the devil” (Hebrews 2:14, NKJV).
Hebrews 1 talks of Jesus as the Son of God, the ruler over the angels, and “the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person” (Hebrews 1:3, NKJV). In Hebrews 2, Jesus is the Son of man, who was made lower than the angels and who adopted human nature with all its frailty, even to the point of death (Hebrews 2:7).
In Hebrews 1, God says about Jesus: “You are My Son” (Hebrews 1:5, NKJV). In Hebrews 2, Jesus refers to human children as His “brethren” (Hebrews 2:12).
In Hebrews 1, the Father declares the Son’s divine sovereignty (Hebrews 1:8-12). In Hebrews 2, the Son affirms His faithfulness to the Father (Hebrews 2:13).
In Hebrews 1, Jesus is the divine Lord, Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign. In Hebrews Chapter 2, Jesus is the human high priest, merciful and faithful.
In summary, the description of Jesus as a faithful and merciful brother is depicted in the description of the Son as the ultimate manifestation of the eternal, creator God (Hebrews 1:1-4).
