COVID-19 has affected the number of volunteers, hours of operation, food distribution hours, and other programs at most Adventist Community Services (ACS) locations in North America. This is the reality at the Northeastern Conference (NEC) ACS Center.
As a result of school closings in New York City, the Queens Center for Progress was closed, reducing the number of volunteers; volunteers who were instrumental in carrying out the daily activities at the center. Messages of Hope Shared During COVID-19
Bill was at a gas station pumping gas when suddenly he felt a strong impression to give a GLOW tract to a well-dressed woman on the other side of the pump standing near her vehicle. In one day, the young people collected 300 kilos (approximately 661 pounds) of food donations by offering a mask in exchange for a kilo of food, or 2.2 pounds donated.
