Any Adventist in any part of the world can tell you what Pathfinders and Adventurers are. These well-established groups serve what the church calls “junior youth,” or children ages 4-15, and those who are the leaders of these groups are known as Master Guides. Mary John Ijaa never realized that it could be so hard to find a church.
She grew up attending worship services in a major Christian denomination in what is now South Sudan. But she didn’t feel happy. She didn’t see any unity or love. So at the age of 16, she moved to another church.

More than 400 Seventh-day Adventists and friends recently ran across parts of the coastal city of Santa Marta in North Colombia, during the annual race to promote healthy living under the church’s “Let’s Move to Live” and “I Want to Live Healthy” initiatives.
