More than 200,000 Seventh-day Adventists in Chiapas, Mexico, distributed two million copies of the book Hope for Today’s Families to homes, businesses, and people in public places on Sabbath, May 11, 2019. The book highlights biblical passages that strengthen families in modern society.
It is the first time that such a large quantity of missionary books was distributed in a single day in Chiapas, and one that does not surprise top local church leaders.

More than 700 support Behavior Medical Center 5K to raise awareness for mental health
Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center hosted its third annual “Stand Up to Stigma” 5K on Sunday, aimed to increase awareness of the behavioral health treatment available for the local community.
The May 19 race brought together people of all ages to show their support for those dealing with mental health issues. The event drew more than 714 registrants, making it the largest year for the event.

Little boy with gigantic feet
Nine-year-old Wilmot Redd woke up to see that his feet and legs were gigantic.
His feet and legs had doubled in size since he went to bed the night before in a village in the West African country of Liberia.
Wilmot tried to slip on a pair of pants, but they were too tight. He tried to put on a pair of shoes, but they were too small. He chose a pair of shorts and ran barefoot to Father.
