The Great Controversy Chapter 7: Luther’s Separation from Rome
This week Pastor Ted Wilson discusses chapter seven of The Great Controversy, entitled “Luther’s Separation from Rome” in which Martin Luther visits Rome at the time the church offered indulgences (forgiveness) for the first time to those who would pay a fee and crawl The Holy Stairs to the top. While climbing these stairs, Luther was reminded of the truth of salvation by faith in Romans 1:17. This started Luther’s journey which led to the 95 Theses and the movement which followed. Since the first time Martin Luther held the complete Bible in his hands, a love for the Word of God was kindled in Luther's heart that would never be extinguished. Seventh-day Adventist
The very name, Seventh-day Adventist, identifies who we are as a people. Just as Jesus came “to do the will of him who sent [Him] and to finish his work” (John 4:34), so too have we been called, and even established, to fulfill God’s mission as we near the soon return of Jesus. Our name, Seventh-day Adventist, reveals that, just as God rested from His own works on the Sabbath (Genesis 2:1-3), we follow His example and rest on His holy day as well. Are you living out your calling as a Seventh-day Adventist? Are you upholding the biblical Sabbath and living as if we are in the time right before Jesus comes? More than this, are you teaching others and preparing others to be ready for His soon coming? Watch this #short clip from the Global #Campmeeting sermon, “Are You Fulfilling Your Purpose” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctYqtuwDAZ0&list=PL-k2Gb-DBYo9tb9fHW_AxGxJ1R8MpNnpa&index=3 with Pastor Ryan Day as he encourages and inspires us to stay true to our name. ————————————————————————————

Live Fulfilled
Do you feel like you’re living a fulfilled life? We will only be fulfilled as we follow God’s plan and purpose for our life. When Jesus walked this earth, He made a very profound statement that each one of us should keep in mind. In John 4:34, Jesus said, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.” In this short and simple statement, Jesus outlined the attitude each one of His followers should have as well. Are you following His example? Is your desire to do the very work of Christ and finish the work He began all those years ago?
