Will you answer God’s call to love the forgotten? Will you say, “Here I am, Lord, I will go?” Global Youth Day 2022, with the theme, “Loving the Forgotten,” has the power to have a significant influence, not only on youth globally, but on all church members. It is based on Matthew 25:31-40, where Jesus instructs His disciples to serve Him by feeding the hungry, welcoming strangers, clothing the naked, encouraging the sick, and visiting prisoners. This initiative aims to reach out to those who are often ignored. It aims to challenge all young people throughout the globe to reach out in love to prisoners, refugees, the elderly, and missing members of the church. It is indeed true that there is no mountain too tall that we cannot climb. There’s no ocean too wide that we cannot cross. We will all go for Jesus – to share His love and grace with everyone around us. The Seventh-day Adventist Church has been an established denomination since 1863. A global Christian family with over 21 million members who hold the Bible as the ultimate authority. We are believers who promise to help people understand the Bible to find freedom, healing, and hope in Jesus. Want to learn more about the Seventh-day Adventist Church? Living Free: Effective Principles to Finding Freedom from Harmful Habits #Campmeeting
Can good and bad habits become addictions? Can we find freedom from habits that are harming us? Habits are routines that allow us to do various activities with minimum mental effort. They assist us in repeating actions and instilling regularity in our lives. When bad habits develop, they can sometimes become addictions; whether they involve food, substances, or behaviors – they can hijack our life. Addiction of any kind may have a variety of causes, including emotional, spiritual, physical, environmental, and hereditary factors. Finding freedom requires a change in all of these areas, but God makes it possible for us to succeed. He can transform us anew and set us free from these addictions. Breaking and staying free from addictions and unhealthy habits requires applying biblical principles to our lives, influencing our thinking, behavior, and relationships. We can only do so with God's grace and guidance. Watch the full video as Vicki Griffin shares how to live free and find freedom from habits that hurt. What Does the Bible Say About the Church? #TedWilson #shorts
When you hear the word, "church," what comes to mind? Is it a building with rows of benches and stained-glass windows? Is it a gathering of people dressed up, singing hymns? What does the Bible teach us about the Church? This #short clip from Pastor Ted Wilson’s weekly message, “Church [What Does the Bible Teach Us About It?]”, explains that God desired to create the largest church on earth through Israel, where representatives of all nations would gather to worship and proclaim the message of salvation, but they sadly failed at their mission because of idolatry and pride. Watch the entire video to discover more about what God did to establish the Christian church and its mission to proclaim and offer the free gift of salvation.
