Pastor Ted Wilson Shares the Beauty of Creation and Our Loving Creator God
Creation Sabbath is on the fourth Sabbath of October every year. This year, it falls on October 24. In this video, Pastor Ted Wilson will remind us that Creation Sabbath is a time to reflect on the beauty of #Creation and of our #Creator. Have you ever stopped a moment to ponder the incredible beauty of the words found in Genesis 1:1? “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” How amazing. How wonderful. But then, the second verse tells us more— “The earth was without form, and void . . .” “Void”—an empty space. Nothingness. How incredible. #God created the earth, the sky, the sun, the moon, the stars, and living things—out of nothing at all. What a powerful, loving, Creator God! And yet, this incredible truth is hardly recognized in the world today. The devil has worked hard to obliterate the truth we find in God’s Word. Nevertheless, God invites us, through His power, to be lights in the world today. To let the world know that there is a Creator God who made them, who loves them, who died for them, and who is one day soon coming back to redeem His own. In order to fully understand the Creator, it is important to be out in nature where we can observe and appreciate His creation. This coming Sabbath, October 24, has been designated as “Creation Sabbath”—a beautiful time to reflect on the beauty of Creation and of our Creator. This worldwide celebration of Creation is organized by the Geoscience Research Institute, an entity of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that specializes in original research and the study of scientific and Biblical literature. On the website, creationsabbath.net, you will find many wonderful resources to help you celebrate this event. As you celebrate this Sabbath and every day, remember that God is our Creator, Redeemer, and Friend! 00:00 Greetings

Aligning the Adventist Church to Speak with One Voice
How can the #Adventist Church speak with one voice? We have churches all over the world, but many people have never heard of us. How can we work together so that we reach more people? Find out in this week's episode of #ANN In-Depth! This episode is based on the “Reach the World: I Will Go” Leadership Objective: To align world church resources with strategic objectives. The focus is for the General Conference to have, and its entities are working toward, an integrated media plan that maximizes the potential of technology. Another focus is for every organization to systematically review and align resources in light of the worldwide #mission priorities. This week we are joined by Ray Wahlen. He is the Undersecretary for the Global Seventh-day Adventist Church. SHOW NOTES

Pastor Wilson Explains How God Led the Adventist Movement
In this video, Pastor Ted Wilson will talk about a special Sabbath and how God has led the Adventist movement. This Sabbath is an extra special day, as the world church has designated October 17 as “Spirit of Prophecy and Adventist Heritage Day.” This special day gives us a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how the Lord has led us in the past and how we can have confidence for the future. If you would like more information and resource material for this special Sabbath, I encourage you to visit the Ellen G. White Estate website at whiteestate.org. When we think about how the Adventist movement began, it is really quite amazing. God took such a small group of dedicated people—people who loved God, were studying Bible prophecy and looking for His coming—and guided them into His full Bible truth—helping them to understand the true message of Christ. As the Lord led, the movement grew, expanding not only across the United States, but around the world! Today, Seventh-day Adventists number more than 21 million members, located in more than 200 countries around the world! Nevertheless, it is so important that we never forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history. In the mid-19th century, when the Advent movement began, there were already many Christian denominations in various parts of the world. So, why did God raise up the Seventh-day Adventist movement at this time? Was it just to add one more to the many other Protestant denominations? Or was there a special purpose, a special mission for this group? The answer is found in Rev. 12:17—identifying the characteristics of God’s remnant people—those “who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” and Rev. 14:6-12, describing the message that the remnant is to give—that of the Three Angels, urging us to “preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—saying with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him, who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” To proclaim that “Babylon is fallen,” and giving the warning, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God.” Today, God is calling us to remember His leading and “His teaching in our past history,” and is urging us to move forward, through the power of His Holy Spirit, in the calling He has so graciously given. The world is looking, eagerly waiting for answers to the monumental problems we are facing today. Praise God He has given us an incredible, beautiful, hopeful message to share! 00:00 Greetings
