Avoid becoming totally obsessed with every changing statistics. When we sit and watch every change, we are going to continue to become saddened, desperate, and hopeless. But, we need to be informed. We can't ignore the situation, but we can look towards things more hopefully. Develop an attitude of gratitude. For everything and every day, there is a reason to be thankful. We need to share positive and meaningful thoughts. Here are tips from Dr. Peter Landless, Director of Health Ministries for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. #DearCoronavirus: Our Dream for Solidarity During this Crisis
This week members of the Adventist Development and Relief Agency [#ADRA] volunteered in this moving picture of #togetherness and #solidarity – as we work towards and 'uncovered' world. With them, we live in #hope of this better world. Refugees, the dispossessed, and the homeless have been especially vulnerable during this crisis. ADRA always seeks to give a voice. Unmasked is part of that voice. Please download the high-resolution version of this video TO PUBLISH ON YOUR OWN CHANNELS. Can I Make a Difference During #Coronavirus? How?
With coronavirus and this pandemic, is there any hope when things seem so desperate? Can I make a difference? Absolutely! How can we do that? With social support. Reach out to people. Show people you care, show your friends you care, show your neighbors you care. If you are vulnerable or in a risk group, stick to what is safe to do. Don't put yourself at risk. Let People Know You Care During this #COVID-19 Pandemic
Make sure that we're not sharing erroneous treatments and other things that are unfounded and untrue. Cherish and cultivate supportive relationships. It is so important for people to know that you care about them, as much as it's important for us to know that others care about us. So take the opportunity to reach out to people to let them know you care. Trust God. He cares for us. Many are struggling right now. We are in this together. God is a personal God and we can trust Him. Here are tips from Dr. Peter Landless, Director of Health Ministries for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Sabbath School Lesson: Daniel in the Lions’ Den
The Medes and the Persians take control of #Babylon. Then, King #Darius, the Mede becomes the new king. He sees that #Daniel is very wise. So, Darius gives Daniel a job in the new government. Daniel does an excellent job. So, the king makes Daniel one of the top government leaders. But the other government leaders are very jealous of Daniel’s success. Before the story ends, Daniel shows that his heart is loyal to God and to the king. Daniel’s loyalty to God makes him someone that other people can trust. Daniel’s experience shows us what will happen to God’s people in the end times. Daniel’s story also shows us that Satan will attack God’s people for their faith. So, we can expect hard times ahead in the war against evil. But we also can trust that good will win. God will save His people. Yes, Satan will blame God’s end-time people for the trouble on the earth. But God will show that His people are innocent. They should not be blamed for any crimes.
