Psalm 29 has been called, “The Song of the Seven Thunders”
Thunders boom while water and wind cause great destruction. Think of a Tsunami or a tidal wave hitting an island with tremendous force. Everything is swept away in the flood. At the end of the psalm 29 the psalmist proclaims: 10 The LORD sits enthroned over (KJV – “upon”) the flood; the LORD is enthroned as King forever.
So, the waters destroy that which stands in their way or tries to resist them, but if you ride the wave, then you are at peace. You are in sync “with” the power, not resisting or in the away, blocking the wave.
And where does the power come to ride the wave?
11 The LORD gives strength to His people; the LORD blesses His people with peace.
YHWH gives us what we need to make it, to stay “with” Him.
What is your storm? Is it external or internal? Can you name it? Psalm 29 encourages you to “Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness.”
Can you proclaim The LORD’s Name above your storm? Can you see that His name is greater and more powerful than the name of your storm? Can you see how The Voice of the LORD can speak over your storm and give you strength and peace?
Or is there more than one storm in your life right now? Or is it an ongoing storm? Please, let us know how we can pray for you? Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Vh6vZyKqrA

Psalm 28 – With 12-Year-Old John Dias
When God is silent, thank Him for answering your prayer. That seems odd, but the reality of being a Christian is that praying to God is not like holding a magic lamp in your hands, rubbing the lamp, the LORD pops out, and gives you whatever you ask. Sometimes, as David discovered in Psalm 28, it seems like God is silent. This Psalm was written when King David was under strong temptation to be drawn away with the wicked. The first 5 verses he is crying out to the LORD for deliverance and judgment upon the wicked, and in the last 4 verses David is thanking the LORD for hearing his prayer although he sees no visible evidence that his prayer has been answered. How to Be Wise: Follow the Star!
They followed the star to where the humble infant was cradled in a manger. The wisemen then “bowed down and worshiped Him” (Matthew 2:11). Yet the religious leaders, who were not ignorant concerning the prophecy that declared the birthplace of the Messiah, refused to make the effort to go to Bethlehem to see for themselves. This was the beginning of their rejection of Christ. How do we prevent our hearts from growing cold to Jesus? See how you too can follow the star today and bring your gifts to Him, like the wisemen did so long ago. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yilkKjnJELs
Dealing with Unplanned Pregnancy – ProGrace: Equipping Christians with a Third Option
ProGrace is a training and equipping organization whose vision is for Christians to embrace a grace-centered response to dealing with unplanned pregnancies; thus, creating communities where both the woman and the child can thrive. There are two foundational beliefs at the heart of the ProGrace mission: #1 God’s design for pregnancy was to intertwine a woman and a child. He has made it impossible for us to try to help one while bypassing the other, but instead calls us to work for the dignity and welfare of both. #2 God’s path for transformation for any of us is always grace, not judgment. So, we will extend the same grace we've received to any woman facing an unintended pregnancy. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dw9iybJlWhc
