To learn of the “Allusions, Images and Symbols” in Bible Prophecy we are really in great need of saying to God 
Give Me The Bible – Hymn 272 so we are able to learn with His abundant help. This will be our theme for this, the second quarter of Bible Study, 2025.

The greatest sacrifice ever made is studied this week. Our God of infinite love shows in study times
Worthy, Worthy Is The Lamb – Hymn 246.

The sacrifices shown to us on Sunday, help us to say 
All To Jesus I Surrender – Hymn 309, and as with Abel’s story we can clearly see that we are 
By Christ Redeemed – Hym 402.

Monday has us asking the question 
What Does The Lord Require? – Hymn 571 through the sacrifices that were made with “The Blood of Bulls and Goats”.

 It is in “The Passover Lamb” on Tuesday that we see the 
Marvelous Grace – Hymn 109 “where the blood of the Lamb was spilt”. Oh, how wonderful to then sing that there is 
Power In The Blood – Hymn 294 and proclaim again 
Worthy, Worthy Is The Lamb – Hymn 246.

May we continue to go 
Deeper Yet – Hymn 302 into the crimson blood shed for each of us. It will be the greatest joy in all eternity as a human being to be able to hear the cherubim announcement that John saw in vision, 
Holy, Holy, Holy – Hymn 73. We learn then, that “we need Christ as our Redeemer”: 
By Christ Redeemed – Hymn 402 and Redeemed – Hymn 337/338. Thursday closes saying the cross shows us “just how much God loves us”: 
O Love Of God, How Strong And True – Hymn 79.

Friday’s “Further Thought” reminds us again 
Worthy, Worthy Is The Lamb – Hymn 246 and of the wonders of the “spotless Lamb of God” as sung in 
Jesus, Priceless Treasure – Hymn 239.

Key Thought : This week we will look at some of the themes of sacrifice that help us understand Jesus and what He was doing through the sacrificial system.

1. Have a volunteer read Hebrews 10:3-10.

1. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most important point is in this passage.
2. What does this passage teach us about the sacrifices offered in the Old Testament?
3. Personal Application: How can we protect ourselves from simply going through the motions od Christianity? How can we experience depending totally in Jesus’ sacrifice for us as our only hope for salvation? Share your thoughts.
4. Case Study: One of your relatives states, If the animal sacrifice didn’t actually save people, then why did they offer them at all? Was it because they were saved by obedience in the Old Testament?” How would you respond to your relative?

2. Have a volunteer read Exodus 12:1-11, Isaiah 53:7,8; I Cor. 5:7; Rev 5:6.

1. Ask class members to share a thought on what the most important point in this text is.
2. What do these passages teach us about Jesus as the Passover sacrifice?
3. Personal Application: How can we better reflect the character of Jesus in our own lives? Share your thoughts.
4. Case Study: One of your friends states, “What can we learn about God through the fact that the plan of salvation was already in plce before we needed it?” How would you respond to your friend?

3. Have a volunteer read Haggai 2:7-9.

1. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most important point in this text is.
2. What did Haggai say about the new temple being more glorious than the previous one? What did he mean by that?
3. Personal Application: Besides the cross, what are other ways we can see and experience the reality of God’s love? Share your thoughts.
4. Case Study: One of your neighbors states, “This is a cold and uncaring world. If God doesn’t exist, there would be no help or hope for anyone. But if Jesus came to die for us and save us, why is there still so much death, hatred, and misery in this world?” How would you respond to your neighbor?

4. Have a volunteer read Isaiah 6:1-5, Revelation 4:7-11.

1. Ask class members to share a thought on what the most important point in this text is.
2. What elements of these two visions are similar? Pay attention to the order of events.
3. Personal Application: Why was the life, death, and resurrection of Christ the only means by which the human race could be saved? What does such a cost tell us about how bad sin must be? Share your thoughts.
4. Case Study: Think of one person who needs to hear a message from this week’s lesson. Tell the class what you plan to do this week to share with them.
