Praying Scripture slows us down to reflect deeply on God’s Word, one phrase at a time. Take Psalm 23:1, for example: 'The Lord is my shepherd.' Written by David, a man after God’s own heart, this is a powerful statement of faith born out of his experiences as a warrior and worshiper." So, who is the Lord to you? How do you see Him in your life? Discover how praying Scripture can deepen your faith and bring Scripture to life in this reflective discussion. From Revenge to Redemption
Dindo loved his coconut and fruit trees. It had always been his dream to grow and sell his own fruits, and he enjoyed spending time outdoors caring for them. But one day, his world was shattered when a construction crew moved in. They were armed with falsified documents and proceeded to cut down his trees. They said they needed to make way for a temporary campsite to house workers who would be expanding a national highway nearby. By the time Dindo was able to prove ownership and reclaim his land, it was too late. His trees were gone, and the government project engineer only offered him rent money for the use of the land, but his beautiful trees were gone forever. With bitterness and hatred, Dindo plotted his revenge, hijacking government trucks and raiding houses to draw attention to his plight. But one day, something changed. He heard a message on the radio that awakened his desire for God. Watch this video for Dindo’s full story and the amazing conclusion. There is no greater joy than seeing the miracle of a life changed for the kingdom of heaven, and I especially love it when God uses Adventist World Radio to do it!
