In the book of Revelation, Satan is represented as a roaring dragon, while God’s church and people are represented as a woman whom the dragon seeks to destroy. “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 12:17). The apostle John tells us precisely who Satan will target. Satan’s goal is to harm those who keep God’s commandments and believe what Jesus taught. He wants to discourage the children of God in these last days. Why is the devil so angry with the remnant?
