Welcome to Ten Days of Prayer – UNLEASHED! This is the livestream that we are hosting from Chapel Oaks church in Shawnee Kansas, USA. We are grateful that Don MacLafferty, author of this year's 10 Days of Prayer materials, is leading out this program. DAY 9 – January 15, 2026 – “See and Care for the Forgotten" Scripture: Acts 3:1-10. How did "seeing" the cripple lead Peter and John to caring for him?
Speaker: Pastor Don MacLafferty To join us for tomorrow's last Zoom prayer meeting and testimony, at 7AM EST, or for the daily prayer and devotional guides, visit: https://www.tendaysofprayer.org/ The Elijah Song – More of His Spirit: https://www.revivalandreformation.org/resources/all/back-to-the-altar-revival-resources QUOTES from Ellen White that will be shared: "“Every kind act done to them in the name of Jesus, is accepted by Him as if done to Himself, for He identifies His interest with that of suffering humanity, and He has entrusted to His church the grand work of ministering to Jesus by helping and blessing the needy and suffering. On all who shall minister to them with willing hearts, the blessing of the Lord will rest.” – {Counsels on Stewardship, p. 164.1} https://egwwritings.org/read?panels=p22.958&index=0 “Christ’s method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, “Follow Me.” There is need of coming close to the people by personal effort. If less time were given to sermonizing, and more time were spent in personal ministry, greater results would be seen. The poor are to be relieved, the sick cared for, the sorrowing and the bereaved comforted, the ignorant instructed, the inexperienced counseled. We are to weep with those that weep, and rejoice with those that rejoice. Accompanied by the power of persuasion, the power of prayer, the power of the love of God, this work will not, cannot, be without fruit." – {Ministry of Healing, p. 143} https://egwwritings.org/read?panels=p135.657&index=0 Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQIURzeOqLE

Self is the enemy we most need to fear. No form of vice has a more baleful effect upon the character than has human passion not under the control of the Holy Spirit. No other victory we can gain will be so precious as the victory gained over self. We should not allow our feelings to be easily wounded. We are to live, not to guard our feelings or our reputation, but to save souls." {Gospel Workers, p. 475.2} https://egwwritings.org/read?panels=p35.2457&index=0 "When Irritated, Refuse to Speak—Let those who are easily irritated refuse to retaliate when words that vex them are spoken. Let them seek the Lord in prayer, asking Him to show them how to work for souls perishing in sin. He who keeps busy in this work will be so thoroughly imbued with the Spirit of God that his manners, his voice, his whole life, will be a revelation of Christ. Try it, brethren, try it. Crucify self, in the place of seeking to crucify your brethren. “If any man will come after Me,” Christ said, “let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (Matthew 16:24).—Lt 11, 1905. – {2MCP 522.2} https://egwwritings.org/read?panels=p78.786&index=0 Ten Days of Prayer

DAY 8 – January 14, 2026 – “Love Our Family of Faith as Jesus Does” Scripture: Acts 2:41-45. In what way did the first-century believers love each other sacrificially?
Speaker: Pastor Don MacLafferty To join us daily on Zoom at 7AM EST, or for the daily prayer and devotional guides, visit: https://www.tendaysofprayer.org/ QUOTES Melody will share at close of meeting: "The Lord can do more in one hour than we can do in a whole lifetime, and when He sees that His people are fully consecrated, let me tell you, a great work will be done in a short time, and the message of truth is to be carried into the dark places of the earth, where it has never been proclaimed…." – {5 Manuscript Releases, p. 347.3} https://egwwritings.org/read?panels=p56.1703&index=0 “We cannot afford to let our spirits chafe over any real or supposed wrong done to ourselves. Self is the enemy we most need to fear. No form of vice has a more baleful effect upon the character than has human passion not under the control of the Holy Spirit. No other victory we can gain will be so precious as the victory gained over self. We should not allow our feelings to be easily wounded. We are to live, not to guard our feelings or our reputation, but to save souls. As we become interested in the salvation of souls, we cease to mind the little differences that so often arise in our association with one another. Whatever others may think of us, it need not disturb our oneness with Christ, the fellowship of the Spirit. “What glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.” [1 Peter 2:20.] – {Gospel Workers, p. 475.2} https://egwwritings.org/read?panels=p35.2457&index=0 “I saw that the remnant were not prepared for what is coming upon the earth. Stupidity, like lethargy, seemed to hang upon the minds of most of those who profess to believe that we are having the last message. My accompanying angel cried out with awful solemnity, “Get ready! get ready! get ready! for the fierce anger of the Lord is soon to come. His wrath is to be poured out, unmixed with mercy, and ye are not ready. Rend the heart, and not the garment. A great work must be done for the remnant. Many of them are dwelling upon little trials.” Said the angel, “Legions of evil angels are around you, and are trying to press in their awful darkness, that ye may be ensnared and taken. Ye suffer your minds to be diverted too readily from the work of preparation and the all-important truths for these last days. And ye dwell upon little trials and go into minute particulars of little difficulties to explain them to the satisfaction of this one or that.” Conversation has been protracted for hours between the parties concerned, and not only has their time been wasted, but the servants of God are held to listen to them, when the hearts of both parties are unsubdued by grace. If pride and selfishness were laid aside, five minutes would remove most difficulties. Angels have been grieved and God displeased by the hours which have been spent in justifying self. I saw that God will not bow down and listen to long justifications, and He does not want His servants to do so, and thus precious time be wasted that should be spent in showing transgressors the error of their ways and pulling souls out of the fire". I saw that God’s people are on the enchanted ground, and that some have lost nearly all sense of the shortness of time and the worth of the soul. Pride has crept in among Sabbathkeepers-pride of dress and appearance. Said the angel, “Sabbath keepers will have to die to self, die to pride and love of approbation.” – {Early Writings, p. 119-120} https://egwwritings.org/read?panels=p28.689&index=0 "Let those who are easily irritated refuse to retaliate when words that vex them are spoken.
