People sometimes are willing to promise to be loyal to God but sooner or later they do not keep such promises. When Nehemia is informed about such backsliding he acts rapidly.

Foreign persons, who deliver their false religion into Israel, destroy God`s people. Even leaders of Israel have worked together with the enemies of God.
