“My life is fine . . . I don’t need God.” Eric was a sailor and he loved his life as a free spirit traveling the seas. He felt he had it all and didn’t need God. But then the pandemic hit. Ranja's life took a turn when she met two young people who introduced her to the concept of prayer. Intrigued, she accompanied them to church and offered one thousand Malagasy Ariary, hoping for an answer to her prayers. However, her life remained unchanged, and the spirits continued to control her. She often fell ill due to their punishments. Just as she was about to lose hope in the existence of a caring God, she met a Seventh-day Adventist man. He told her about Jesus, the Sabbath, and gave her a Bible.
