Clinical nurse shows wholistic care
A mission trip to a hospital in the Solomons would prove to be a valuable experience for Tahlia Freeman because it showed the importance of what she had been learning at Avondale. The nursing graduate receives Avondale Alumni’s 2019 Young Alumnus of the Year award for demonstrating not only physical but also social, emotional and spiritual care in her professional and personal life. Alumni will be invited next weekend to help support the refurbishment of a contemporary hub for new and prospective students. The hub will make a student’s first experience at Avondale more pleasant and productive.
