The verdant green of the rich landscape of the La Soufriere volcano was reminiscent of the green and pleasant land of a fairy tale.  The devastation of its eruption on 9 April transformed the green dew-kissed dense rainforest to a grey volcanic apocalyptic wilderness. People fled their homes, left their fields ripe with needed crops, and escaped the ‘red’ zone in the north of the island to safer ground in the south.

We were saddened to learn of the death of Pastor Ron Davey on 11 April 2021. Pastor Davey was born on the 4th of April 1932 in Aldershot. On the 19th of December 1953 he married Iris Nina Smith and their union brought about Gary, Lorrae and Kerie

We were saddened to learn of the death of Pastor Rafael Luz on 5 April 2021. Pastor Luz was born on  15 May 1967 in Brazil. On 21 August 2005 he married Sheilla Ferraz and their union brought about Shawn and Timothy.
Pastor Luz joined the Seventh-day Adventist Church denominational service in the UK in 2005 as the Dean of Boarding at Stanborough School.
