It is with deep sadness that we report the death of Pastor Patrick Boyle. He died on 29 December 2020.
He and his wife Rosemary joined the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Dublin in 1956. In 1960 he went to Newbold College to train for the ministry. In 1964 he returned to Ireland and began his ministry in Belfast. I remember very clearly that day in class when Professor Danial Duda said, “Please remember that ministry it not a 100m sprint but a marathon.” Well for somebody that never ran a marathon and only had to run 100m in school, what I got from that lesson is that endurance will be key on this journey.
