The British Union Conference (BUC) Peace Garden was the venue for this year’s Remembrance service initiated by One Vision and pastoral staff of Stanborough Park church on Wednesday 11 November. Remembrance Day − also known as Armistice Day − falls on November 11 every year. It marks the day World War One ended, at 11 am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918. A two-minute silence is held at 11 am to remember those who sadly lost their life in all wars.

Lockdown: Things You Can Do In England’s New Lockdown
The new four-week lockdown has officially started in England. The government has brought the measures in because of the rise in cases of coronavirus and hospital admissions.
However, although lockdown number two is not as strict as the one in spring, it does mean places of worship will have to be closed and only open for prayer.

Bournemouth Baptisms in the Sea!
The 26 September, was a very special day for the Bournemouth Church. The sun shone down as the small crowd gather by the shore of the Bournemouth sea.
Local minister, Pastor Laszlo Liebhardt and Elder Doug Vine, took Christine Chipare Matore, then Mr Peter Breedon, into the water. Many of the congregation joined these two faithful servants on the beach, to share in their joy as they watched, witnessed and applauded this unique baptism taking place.
