We were saddened to learn of the death of Pastor Amalendu (Amal) Bairagee on 9 May 2020. Amal was born on 20 October 1949 near Calcutta, India. On 21 October 1975 Amal married Helen Simon. Their union brought about two daughters, Tina and Shikha.
After completing his secondary studies through the University of Cambridge, Amal entered Seventh-day Adventist denominational employment in 1974 within the Southern Asia Division as an educator.
