We were saddened to learn of the death of Pastor Jack (John) Mahon on 31 October 2019 after a short illness and only three days after celebrating his 98th birthday. Jack was born on 28 October 1921 in the cotton mill town of Blackburn, Lancashire. He was the youngest of a family of five. His character and values were formed by his early experiences of the Great Depression and love of reading.
