From Sabbath 13 to Thursday 18 January 2024, the British Union Conference (BUC) hosted 22 newly appointed pastors, interns, and Bible workers who have responded to the call of mission within the UK and Ireland at its offices in Watford. The British Union Conference (BUC) Executive Committee on Thursday, 18 January, has elected Dr Augustus Lawrence as the new Evangelism Director of the BUC after the role became vacant in September 2023 following the election of the incumbent, Dr Kirk Thomas, as President for the South England Conference at their 2023 Session.
Lawrence has served at the SEC as Stewardship and Trust Services Director and previously as Family Ministries Director, a role he served in for eight years.
