A unique outreach event on 14 February, 2023, brought scores of people from the community to the Willesden Seventh-day Adventist church. We share with sadness the news of the death of Pastor Esnoraldo Enrique Duarte, whose demise occurred on Sunday 12 February, after a period of illness.
Duarte entered denominational employment on 15 October 1977 in his native Colombia, where he worked before joining the South England Conference (SEC) on 1 July 2001 until his retirement in December 2021. The Scottish Mission has been privileged to welcome a new pastoral family into its fold. Pastor Ratko Risteski, along with his wife Sarita and daughter Lusiana were introduced to the Paisley, Faifley and Irvine congregations at the end of 2022.  
 
 
It’s been a whirlwind few months as Pastor Risteski settled into the district. And then – just a few days ago, early in February – the family celebrated the birth of beautiful twin boys into their family.
