There was excitement around Newbold College on Sabbath 12 March as Pathfinders and Adventurers arrived from across the British Union for the Union level testing. Home Office immigration team partners with an Adventist lay ministry for understanding.
Six Home Office officials from specialist units of the UK immigration department engaged with nearly 200 attendees in a webinar discussion to build trust and understanding with the community.
The event on 5 March was organised and facilitated by an elder of the Milton Keynes Seventh-day Adventist Church, Dr Robbie Osei Addaih and his ministry team called ‘The Legal Team’. The group have been helping and supporting people with immigration challenges over the past ten years.

Scottish Mission Adventurer club achieve a first place in a UK-wide Adventurer Bible Experience
The Forth Valley District Wildcats Adventurer club accomplished a special achievement on Sabbath 12 March when they participated in an Adventurer Bible Experience at Newbold College. They achieved a “First Place” in a competition that tested their collective knowledge of two books of the Bible. 26 teams from across the British Isles had made it through to this round. Four ‘go down’ for Jesus at Stanborough Secondary School
Four students from Stanborough Secondary School were baptised this morning, Friday 11 March, at the end of their annual Week of Prayer. The RE teacher, Pastor Ray Patrick, who conducted the Week of Prayer, immersed Hazel, Fae, T’oluwani and Judah in the portable pool. Their peers, teachers and close family members and friends witnessed the service.
